Our Sacred Foundations
WHY ABHISHEKAJWALA
Abhisheka Jwala Online Community
ABHISHEKA JWALA online community aims at reaching out to the unreached to spread the GOOD NEWS to various language communities having responded to the call of our Lord, "Ask me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance and the ends of the earth as your own possession" (Psalms 2:8)[cite: 114].
On establishing The Pontifical Council for Promoting the New Evangelization by Pope Benedict XVI at vespers on 28 June 2010, eve of the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, to carry out the New Evangelization, the pope said that "the process of secularisation has produced a serious crisis of the sense of the Christian faith and role of the Church", and the new pontifical council would "promote a renewed evangelisation" in countries where the Church has long existed "but which are living a progressive secularisation of society and a sort of 'eclipse of the sense of God'." [cite: 114, 115]
Spreading Hope in the Digital Age
Recognizing the urgent need to address the "eclipse of the sense of God" in modern society, Abhisheka Jwala has embraced online media as the primary vehicle for evangelization[cite: 117]. We use new media tools like the internet, social media, and smartphones to connect with people and build communities of faith[cite: 118]. This approach allows us to be flexible and far-reaching, ensuring that our message is not limited by physical distance[cite: 119].
DIVERSE LANGUAGE OUTREACH
To ensure the Gospel resonates with all hearts, we focus on reaching diverse language communities online[cite: 121]. Our ministry currently serves English, Hindi, Tamil, and Malayalam speakers, but this is just the beginning[cite: 122]. Our goal is to expand by continuously adding new languages, breaking down barriers and bringing hope to a global audience[cite: 123]. We're committed to making the Good News accessible to everyone, no matter their location or language[cite: 124].
VIRTUAL PRAYER COMMUNITIES
In a world that can feel isolating, Abhisheka Jwala builds strong, supportive virtual prayer communities[cite: 126]. We believe faith is a shared journey[cite: 127]. Our online groups are vibrant spaces where individuals can grow in their faith and receive support from fellow believers worldwide[cite: 127]. Through live sessions and interactive discussions, we foster a sense of belonging and mutual encouragement, nurturing a global family of faith to support one another on their spiritual journey[cite: 128].
ACCESSIBLE ONLINE RETREATS
Abhisheka Jwala offers accessible online retreats to help people deepen their faith from home[cite: 130]. These powerful, digital experiences provide a transformative spiritual experience with live teaching and guided prayer[cite: 131]. We offer retreats tailored for specific communities, like our NRI Retreat Online and Indian Retreat Online, as well as general online retreats open to all[cite: 132]. This blended approach ensures we can serve everyone, breaking down barriers of distance and time to provide spiritual renewal[cite: 133].
"Once we learn to take the last places, rather than striving for the first, that dignity will appear, and we will come to the fore simply and effortlessly"
- POPE MESSAGE [cite: 134, 135]
